Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 8 cups popped popcorn
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup; bring to a boil. Let it boil for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract and baking soda.
- Pour the caramel over popped popcorn in a large bowl, tossing to coat evenly.
- Spread the coated popcorn onto a baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Allow to cool before serving.
